Evening routine, grocery tantrum & Instant Pot lasagna
Saturday evenings with toddlers can feel like a juggling act. Or a forensic case… what triggered the tantrum this time? Mom and Dad managed the grocery run like champs even though little sister was not too happy with errands as she wailed from her shopping cart seat through the aisles.
At home, little girl was strapped into her carrier then nestled into a nap while big brother helped Mom whip up some Instant Pot lasagna, set the table, and had a fairly peaceful dinner and family playtime. So grateful to have had this time with this family to make photos of this one slice of life to look back on.

I’m finding these photos pretty hilarious. I think every mom should do this while their kids are little :) Our lives may seem pretty mundane, stressful, tiring, etc - but I know one day I will miss this time of our lives with our young kiddos! It definitely captures the raw and real emotions that posed/pretty background pictures don't always capture. I think I'll be making this a priority to do every few years as the kids grow up.
